Web-Based Digital Examination Card Design to Reduce Paper Use

Abstract

The use of paper in traditional examinations has been a common practice in many educational institutions. However, the extensive use of paper has significant environmental impacts, including deforestation and increased paper waste. In an effort to reduce paper consumption in the examination process, we propose the design of digital examination participant cards based on web technology. This research aims to introduce a sustainable solution that utilizes web-based technology to replace conventional printed examination participant cards. The design of digital examination participant cards based on web technology offers several advantages, such as cost reduction in printing, administrative efficiency, and faster distribution. We will implement responsive user interface design principles to ensure an optimal user experience. Security and privacy are also key considerations in this design, and security measures such as data encryption and user authentication will be implemented. It is expected that the design of digital examination participant cards based on web technology will bring significant benefits, both in reducing paper consumption and improving administrative efficiency. By adopting this sustainable solution, educational institutions can contribute to environmental conservation while maintaining effective examination processes.
